The butyl-rubber septum tolerates roughly 20-30 punctures before the seal becomes unreliable — track that count and replace the vial accordingly, or use a smaller pack size if your protocol stays well under that. Pair with the 18G blunt-fill needle for draws (it resists coring) and a thin-gauge sterile syringe for the actual delivery. Once reconstituted, refrigerated storage is typical until the bacteriostatic preservative window expires — usually 28 days from first puncture.
